Overview
DoodleFam is a drawing and creative editing app. You can use the editor without creating a DoodleFam account. The app has no third-party advertising, advertising SDK, or automatic analytics uploader. It records a small set of predefined feature and error event codes locally to help with troubleshooting; optional local usage counts are off by default.
Your artwork and photos
Drawings and their editable contents are saved on your device in the app’s local storage. When you use Apple’s photo picker, the images you select become part of your local artwork. DoodleFam does not automatically send drawings, imported images, design text, or your photo library to a DoodleFam server. Export, backup, or sharing sends content to the destination you choose through iOS; that destination’s privacy practices then apply. Removing the app or its local data may delete drawings that you have not separately backed up.
Diagnostics, usage counts, and feedback
DoodleFam can retain up to 40 recent predefined application event codes locally, without timestamps or document contents. You may turn off and clear these diagnostics. Optional aggregate feature counts, grouped by month, are disabled by default and kept locally for up to 12 months when enabled. They are not uploaded automatically.
Report a Bug and Request a Feature let you write your own message and review it before sending. Bug reports can optionally include the predefined diagnostic codes, app version/build, and broad platform information. They do not automatically include artwork, photos, design text, file names, names, or device identifiers. If you send a report by email, your email service will provide your sender address and message to joseph@troncone.net; we use what you choose to send to respond and troubleshoot. The app also offers a share/files fallback. Temporary report files are cleared at the next app launch.
Apple services, purchases, and other recipients
DoodleFam uses Apple’s system photo picker and share sheet for the actions you request. On supported devices, optional Apple Image Playground functionality is provided through Apple’s system experience; Apple’s applicable terms and privacy information govern that service. Optional premium capabilities use Apple StoreKit; Apple manages purchase and payment information. DoodleFam does not receive your full payment-card details. Apple may separately make app reliability information available to developers under its own settings and policies. We do not sell your personal information or share it with advertisers.
Children and families
Little Learners is designed as an approachable creative space. It does not require a child to create an account, and DoodleFam does not automatically upload children’s artwork to our servers. A parent or guardian should review any export, share, purchase, or optional report a child chooses to make and the practices of the receiving service. If you believe information was sent to us in error, contact us so we can review a deletion request.
Retention, access, and deletion
Local artwork remains on your device until you remove it or the app’s data, subject to backups you control. You can clear local diagnostics and switch off optional usage counts in the app. For a support email you sent us, ask us at joseph@troncone.net to delete the message or tell us what you need corrected. We retain support correspondence only for the time reasonably needed to answer and follow up, and may retain records when required for security or legal reasons. If you share artwork with another service, ask that service about its retention and deletion practices.
Security and policy changes
Device storage, Apple’s system services, and your chosen sharing or email provider have their own security protections. No system can promise perfect security. If DoodleFam later adds account features, cloud storage, automatic analytics, or third-party AI services, this policy and the relevant App Store disclosures will be reviewed before those features are released. We will update the date above and make the new policy available here.
